Rana Hassouna

Rana Hassouna is an activist from Lebanon who believes in human rights and in human potential, impact and role in the change process. Since 2010, Rana has been working and training in different projects that were implemented in different communities in Lebanon, focusing on women rights, justice, empowerment, nonviolence, coexistence and others. Rana worked with women, youth and children in marginalized areas; believing that through her work she can support and empower people to become part in the change they seek in their communities. In 2016, Rana joined Steps team in the Women Empowerment family as a trainer in IMAGINE program, working with women in challenging life circumstances and enabling them to envision and create new possibilities for themselves, their families and the community. 

 

Rana holds a bachelor in Graphic Design from the Lebanese University and a Teaching Diploma in Arts from American University of Science and Technology in Lebanon.
